Last June, Optimal Ways organized its first “Positive Aperitif”, a networking opportunity for our customers and partners with a touch of CSR.

We organized this event to provide a platform for companies to share their positive impact on the environment.

Among those companies, we had the pleasure of listening to inspiring stories from:

• Cédric Leprince-Ringuet (Ititoca), presented a summary of the current environmental challenges and possible solutions.
• Olivier Harduin introduced our customers and partners to the association Choisis ta Planète (supported by Optimal Ways), which raises awareness of sustainable development issues among 8-12 year-olds, particularly in schools in the Lille area. It’s a challenge that’s much appreciated by the children, who come up with a whole host of solutions!
• Sarah Vestiel, title at Gentle Factory, a company which engages in the creation of responsible, quality clothing and a real “Made in France”.

We also presented the new CSR approach of Optimal Ways, which we started to develop in 2021 in cooperation with our partner Ititoca (It is Time To Care). Not only did we share our activities to date, but we also shared our future plans (more on that soon).

The event was accompanied by Bonsigne, a vegetarian and zero-waste caterer, and Waale, a prize-winning micro-brewery from Wasquehal. It can’t get more local than that!

All in all, we were extremely pleased to have welcomed around 30 people and given the opportunity to share stories. A 100% positive event to be repeated!
