In the full momentum of Black Friday week, the big family of retail, e-commerce, and tech gathered at Porte de Versailles for two days as intense as they were inspiring. Tech for Retail, already in its fifth edition, once again delivered on all its promises: more than 200 conferences, 400 exhibitors, 13,000 visitors, and a palpable energy in every aisle of the show.

In the midst of this vibrant atmosphere, Optimal Ways was represented by Hugo Stepien and Nicolas Malo, who set out to capture the key trends, the strong ideas, and the inspiring visions shared by the speakers. We are pleased to share here our report of the conferences we attended, in order to pass on some of the creative spark that ran through this first day.

After a first day rich in insights (summary here), the second day confirmed the major trends reshaping today’s retail landscape. More than ever, retailers are betting on closer relationships with their customers, cultivating essential operational agility, and experimenting with new commerce formats designed to meet the expectations of consumers seeking simplicity, value, and experience. Between expert feedback, real-world innovations, and strategic perspectives, the day offered a clear panorama of the ongoing transformations — and those yet to come.
