I learned a lot during my work placement at Optimal Ways. It was an experience rich in knowledge, camaraderie, team and personal work, learning about French professional culture, challenges and projects, but above all an experience that left its mark on me personally and professionally. Despite my basic knowledge of data analysis for e-commerce, Optimal Ways helped me to acquire a wealth of knowledge in this field, which is one of my professional ideals for my future jobs.

The in-depth knowledge of platforms such as GA4, Piano analytics, Contentsquare, GTM, Looker Studio, among others, for different clients in France and internationally, is preparing me to continue generating value in my professional career in France and with the great surprise of also learning Javascript, which I hadn’t imagined but which I’ve definitely enjoyed. Some of my expectations when starting this job, with my previous work experience in Mexico, were to get to know the working culture in this beautiful country that I now call home, to adapt to their way of working and to challenge myself to become more fluent in French, which would allow me to contribute my ideas and views without the language barrier, and to build a solid knowledge base to apply in this area in my future adventures. I can say without hesitation that I achieved my objectives and even exceeded them, thanks to the help of my colleagues and managers throughout the placement.

Data analysis is fundamental to a career in digital marketing, as it enables evidence-based strategic decision-making and complements my Masters in International Marketing and Business Development at Skema very well. In an environment where consumers generate huge volumes of information through their interactions on websites, social networks and advertising campaigns, knowing how to interpret, collect and manage this data enables strategies to be adapted in real time, with great added value for companies. It’s an area I was keen to explore and that’s why I’m so grateful to everyone at Optimal Ways for sharing their experiences and knowledge with me over the last six months.

Each person is not only an excellent professional, but also a wonderful human being who has given me experiences and moments that I will treasure. It’s a very human and enriching company, which welcomes you warmly and seeks to leave a positive mark both professionally and in the treatment of others. It is open to training international profiles with a great deal of enthusiasm and kindness.

They have not only allowed me to learn from their work, but have also encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and learn more independently and collaboratively. With the opportunity to take part in seminars, training courses, webinars, events in the field or solidarity actions with the organisations they support with their B Corp and 1% for the planet certification.

It’s a course that makes you think, learn and, above all, apply your skills to every task, that challenges you to excel and be able to use the world of data in a conscious, responsible and practical way, to get the best result for businesses so that they can grow with data that is reliable, structured and tracked in an honest and legal way. We’ve even been able to look at accessibility for every user and optimisation to improve their experience on every page.

Every task is important and I’ve been able to do everything from creating dashboards in the best possible way to implementing tags, analysing data, data storytelling and coding, among other things, which has enabled me to deepen my knowledge of the proper management and use of data.

Without a doubt, I’m leaving with memories of life together, challenges to overcome, tasks to accomplish and a big thank you to all the members of the team and to CEO Nicolas Malo, for his great contribution to my career and his warmth in teaching me and working with me. It was the ideal step to finish my master’s and be able to continue in the French working world. The last thing to say, and the most important, is thank you Optimal Ways, and I wish you every success, because you’re an honest company that has a lot of values to contribute professionally.
